Sr. Wilt, Robert “Bob”, 71, was called home November 5, 2017 in Bullitt Co., KY.
He was born to Charles K Wilt Sr. and Addie (Shell) Wilt June 23, 1946 in Louisville, KY.
Bob worked for over 30 years at GE where he retired. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, a diehard UK fan, and a Green Bay Packers fan.
Bob was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor, who will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Janet D. Wilt.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Dawn Adams (Buell), Kellie Parker ( Derek), and Robert Wilt Jr.; six grandchildren: Amanda Walden (Billy), Joseph “LG” Miles (Nikki), Sara Miles, Anna Wilt, Shelbie and Carrie Farvour; great grandchildren: Taycen, Ashton, Zane, and Waylon; a brother, Charles K. Wilt Jr. (Beverly), and his beloved twin sister, Pamela J. Strothman (Mike).
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 1:00-8:00 PM.
