Bowden, Billy Gene, 86, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2017 at his home.
He was a native of Atlanta, GA. a U.S Airforce veteran during Korea War and had retired from Rohm-Haas. He was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his mother, Christine Atnip.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Constance Joan (Fisher) Bowden; three children, Jana Lee Hack (Larry), Deborah Kay (Ricky) Stowers & Pastor Richard Eric Bowden (Linda); two brothers, David Alton Atnip (Anna Sue) & James Fredrick Atnip (Terri); six grandchildren, Jason, Shannon, Seth, Kaylee, Micaiah & Bethany; four great grandchildren, Kensley, Bryson, Collin & Payton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church 2120 Lower Hunters Trace with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. and after 9:30 A.M. Friday at his church.
