Sylvia DiBenedetto, 80 of Vincent Ave, East Providence, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Providence.
Sylvia would like to let you know that her work is done. She received a call, that you can't refuse. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing and having a coffee with her good friend Cathy. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her children to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed.
Born in Providence, Sylvia was the daughter of the late Frederick Lake and Esther (Blanchard Lake). She had lived in East Providence for almost 2 years.
Sylvia worked at the Vartan Gregorian Elementary School in Providence for the past 13 years as a cafeteria aid. Sylvia also worked for CJ Fox Company for 17 years as a machine operator.
She is survived by her 7 children: Ernest Patnaude of Johnston, RI, Edward Patnaude of Columbus, Ohio, Gloria DiBenedetto of Warwick, RI, Debra Martins of East Providence, RI, Sharon DiBenedetto of East Falmouth, MA, Carole DiBenedetto of East Providence, RI and Frederick Bucci of East providence, RI and her 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation will be from 4-630 pm.
