William P. “Bill” Cose age 52 of Brockton, died Friday Nov. 3, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Brighton after a sudden illness. He was the loving husband of the late Kathleen M. (Pelton) Cose and devoted father of Matthew and Jennifer Cose both of Brockton.
Bill was born in Boston and raised in Brookline a son of the late James and Geraldine (Pollard) Cose and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 24 years. A graduate of Brookline High School, Bill had been an employee of Stop & Shop Supermarkets for over 32 years. For the past 3 years he had been the manager of the dairy department in the West Brockton store.
Bill enjoyed working on cars, playing golf when he had the time and was a huge Red Sox, Patriots and Bruin fan. Bill will be remembered as a very dedicated and hardworking man.
In addition to his children, Bill leaves his siblings Robert Cose of Taunton, James Cose of Boston, Kathleen Zemeitus of Braintree, Debra McDonald of Framingham, Patricia Cose of Roslindale, and Michael Cose of California. He was the brother of the late Daniel Cose and Theresa Navikas and leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday 2-5:30 pm with a funeral service at 5:30 pm. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s name to GROW Associates, Inc. 68 Mazzeo Dr. Randolph 02368.
