Obituary

Italo Coppellotti, 88, of Natick, died peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Bore, Italy, August 20, 1929, the son of the late Manfredo and Celesta (Zani) Coppellotti of Bore, Italy. He was the youngest of 10 and a caring brother to the late Alice Mortarelli, Gino Coppellotti, Dolinda Coppellotti, Natalina Guarnieri, Giovanni Coppellotti, Felice Coppellotti and four other deceased siblings in Italy.

He leaves his wife of 46 years, Iole (Zoccoli) Coppellotti; his daughter, Lona (Coppellotti) Benway and her husband Jay, his son Roberto Coppellotti and his wife Emily, and his son Christopher Coppellotti and Danielle. He was the proud and cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Andrew, Michael, Brianna, Owen, and August. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Anna Coppellotti and Florida Zoccoli as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins both in the United States and Italy.

Italo married his loving wife Iole 46 years ago in 1971 and together they came to America to begin their new life. He worked as a machinist at Black Diamond for over 30 years.

He was a great dancer and loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed gardening, working around the house and creating things by hand. Mostly he loved the simple joys of being together with family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at NATICK COMMON, on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 PM.

Funeral services at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, at NATICK COMMON, on Friday, November 10, 2017, at 9:00 AM, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Patrick's Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00 AM.

Interment services will follow at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Pond Street, Natick.
