WORCESTER/LEICESTER: Lisa Jane Germain, 54, of 65 Lake Ave, Worcester, formerly of Leicester, tragically died Sunday, Oct. 29 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge as the result of a pedestrian hit and run motor vehicle accident on Rte. 9, Main St. in East Brookfield.
She leaves her daughter Erica J. Paradis and her boyfriend Robert E. Beaupre Jr. of Clinton, her sisters Susan M. Duff and her husband Robert of Stillwater, NY, and Carol A. McGrath and her husband Timothy of Leicester, nieces and nephews Erin, Michael, and Mathew McGrath and Samantha and Rachel Duff, cherished loved ones Anthony, Emma, Jameson and Brody, treasured fur-baby Jenay, and many beloved family and friends.
Lisa was a Registered Nurse at Metro West Medical Center at Framingham Union Hospital where she passionately cared for babies and their families.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Joseph L.F. and Margaret F. (Bushee) Germain and later graduated from Leicester High in 1981 and Becker College in Worcester in 1998.
Lisa was always ready for an adventure, she lived life to the fullest and she loved with all her heart. She looked forward to days at the beach, trips near and far, music and dancing, and anytime spent with children. Lisa was a breast cancer survivor and fought like a warrior beating the disease.
A Memorial Mass for Lisa will be held on Saturday, November 4, at 11 A.M. in St. Pius X Church, 1159 Main St., Leicester. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the church. Calling hours at the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester are Friday from 4 to 7 P.M.
