Peter J. “Knife” D’Amelio 57, of Franklin, died suddenly, Saturday Oct. 28, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center.
Born December 13, 1959 in Milford, a beloved son of Marjorie A. (Bucchanio) D’Amelio, and the late Michael P. D’Amelio, he was a lifelong Franklin resident.
He was raised and educated in Franklin, was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked as a greens keeper.
Peter loved snowboarding, playing soccer, basketball and followed all the New England sports teams.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Michael J. D’Amelio of Georgetown, Texas, Paul R. D’Amelio of Franklin and John G. D’Amelio of Mendon. He also leaves many relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday Nov. 4th, at 8:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 9AM.
His interment will be held privately.
Calling hours are Friday from 3-7PM.
