Ryan A. D'Andrea, 32, of Crabapple Lane, Greenville, passed away Friday surrounded by his family.
Born in Providence, a son of Ernest V. and Maureen E. (Murray) D'Andrea of Greenville. He had lived in Greenville for 29 years.
Ryan was the Manager for the Abercrombie and Fitch store in the Providence Place Mall. He had played varsity basketball for the Smithfield Sentinels and had graduated with honors from Smithfield High School class of 2004. He had graduated Cum Laude from RI College class of 2008. He was an International Honors Society member for Sociology. He was also a published writer having written for national and international publications.
Ryan had faced his illness with strength, courage and dignity.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00am from the Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
