Julia Mary (Ferrone) Giovannini, 105, of Kingston, formerly of Brockton, passed away October 28. She was the wife of the late James Giovannini. Born June 24, 1912, she was the daughter of Antonio and Pasqualina Ferrone. She was the sister of the late Mary Brazil, Raymond and Frank Ferrone.
Julia was employed for 25 years at the New England Mackintosh Co. in Brockton. She retired and spent happy times with family and friends. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, playing cards, and Bingo.
Julia was well known as a pianist, entertaining for the Kingston and Plymouth Council on Aging, as well as for the residents at St. Joseph Manor in Brockton.
She is survived by her son Ralph Giovannini of Kingston, her daughter Rosemarie Paccia and her husband Walter of Brockton; her grandchildren Maria Murray and her husband Thomas of Bridgewater, Michael Paccia and Maria Emerson of Plymouth; and great granddaughter Julia Murray, as well as nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours at St. Joseph Manor, 215 Thatcher St., Brockton, on Thursday November 2 from 8:45-9:45AM, followed by a Prayer Service at St. Joseph Manor at 9:45AM.
