Dover, New Hampshire- Mrs. Dorothy Ann (Christopher) Fournier, 79, passed away peacefully at her home with her children by her side.
Dorothy was born on February 9, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Domenic and Mary (Flak) Christopher. Loving wife to the late Donald Fournier.
Dorothy was educated through the Boston schools graduating from East Boston High School. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her time with her family. Dorothy was a homemaker for many years.
She most recently worked in Tewksbury at Elliot’s Hotdog and Friendly’s restaurant for many years up until her retirement.
Dorothy’s family would like to thank Seacoast Cancer Center and Wentworth Douglass Hospital and Hospice for their professional care and compassion for their mom.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawne Fournier and her partner Steven Lafargue, her two sons, Paul Fournier and his fiancé Caroline Dolan, and Michael Fournier; three granddaughters, Jessica and Julia Fournier, and Chelsea Howard; she leaves three brothers, Richard Christopher and his wife Terry, Stephen Christopher and his wife Brenda, and John Christopher; also many nieces and nephews,
Dorothy was the sister to the late Gerald and Robert Christopher.
Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, November 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey St. and 975 Main St. (Rte 38), Tewksbury Center.
