Eleanor Ashworth Jordan, age 85, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was born November 28, 1931 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia to the late David Stokes Ashworth and Ruth Wells Ashworth.
She was a member of Mount Horeb Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Morris Lee Jordan; and grandson, Michael Jordan.
Eleanor is survived by her son, Morris Lee Jordan, Jr. and wife, Pam of Mechanicsville, VA; three grandchildren, Andrew Jordan, Larry Flora, and Christopher Flora; four great-grandchildren; two devoted nieces, Susan Ashworth and Sylvia Coleman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Mount Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery.
