Obituary

WORCESTER, MA: Debra Jean Brown passed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the age of 58, following a prolonged illness. She was predeceased by a son, Shane Michael Brown, and a sister Nanette Miller.

She is survived by her niece and loving care-taker Katherine Barrows; her mother, Shirley (Sisco) Miller of Dudley, MA; three sisters, Arleen Brown of Webster, Merie Miller of Dudley, Peggy Overmyer and her husband Michael of Warsaw, IN; two brothers, Kurt Sisco of Rocky Mount, Virginia, Richard Miller and his wife Amy of Webster, MA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born in North Brookfield, MA on December 14, 1958. She served in the U.S. Army, graduated from Wake Technical College and was a long-time resident of Chatham County, North Carolina.

Debra will be remembered in a multitude of ways. By those closest to her, she will be remembered as a person who was well intentioned, who loved children, and wanted to help whenever she could with an ear to listen and words to console.
