Taunton- Susan (Fluegel) Smallhoover passed away suddenly at the age of 56 on Monday, October 16, 2017, while vacationing in Florida.
She was the cherished wife of Alan T. Smallhoover. The beloved daughter of Kenneth and Joan Fluegel of North Dartmouth and daughter-in-law of Jerry and Grace Smallhoover of Raynham. Sister of Sandra (David) Tavares of Somerset and Kenneth of North Dartmouth. Sister-in-law of Jill (Dennis) Keough of Bridgewater and Andrew Smallhoover of Raynham.
Sue is also survived by nephews Brandon Fluegel, Hunter Fluegel, and Peter Keough, and niece Hannah Keough.
Sue attended Dartmouth schools as well as Ricks College in Idaho. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her keen organizational skills, her generosity, and her dedication to her job as a medical billing manager. With her soulmate, Alan, Sue enjoyed traveling, wine tasting, shopping, and spending time with family. An avid reader, Sue was also her family’s savior when it came to technology challenges.
A memorial service will be held at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham on Saturday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately for the family at a later date. Arrangement are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, MA.
