Obituary

Linda Mobley Watson, 67, of Byron, Georgia, died Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, October 28, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Kenny Hamm officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 4PM, Saturday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watson was born March 4, 1950, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Edward Hill & Myrtice Lee Bryant Mobley. She graduated from Fitzgerald High School and attended South Georgia College. She was a bookkeeper for Ben Hill Truck & Tractor Company. Mrs. Watson loved to read and she loved the beach. She lived in Fernandina Beach for many years and moved from Fitzgerald to Byron nine years ago. Mrs. Watson was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Macon.

She is survived by her son, Kevin & Lynn Watson of Warner Robins; a daughter, Christy Trimarchi of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Jessie Trimarchi and Greyson Trimarchi; step-grandchildren: Cassie James and Brooke James; a brother, Rev. John K. Mobley & Pauline of Eastman and a special friend and caregiver, David Scarborough of Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Clark “Clarkie” Watson.
