Ann Whitesides Malone Good, 83, of Destin, Florida, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Destin Healthcare and Rehab in Destin, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia with the Rev. Sonny Pate officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Good was born January 17, 1934, in Clover, South Carolina to the late Quay McAlwee & Nannie McCarter Whitesides. Following high school, she attended business school in Columbia, SC. Ms. Good was a loan processor and secretary for the former C & S Bank / Bank of America. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and Sunnyside Baptist Church, both in Albany as well as Temple Presbyterian Church in Clover, South Carolina where she loved singing in the choir.
She is survived by her two daughters: Sandra Denise Malone Clayton and her husband Patrick of Cape Coral, Florida and Gail Malone King and her husband Kelly of Fort Walton, Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack & Dot Whitesides of Greer, South Carolina; and a sister, Margie Whitesides Hall of York, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Watson Malone; a daughter, Debra Ann Malone Cox; and a brother, Mac Whitesides.
She was a great mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to us all and for that we're grateful.
