Robert P. "Bobby" Pendergast, 63, passed away on October 9, 2017 after a long illness. He was the son of the late John and Catherine (Parrot) Pendergast.
Bobby was formerly employed as a commercial fisherman on several vessels of the New Bedford fleet. He loved the ocean and fishing was his passion.
Bobby had a special place in his heart for his daughter, and for all of his nieces and nephews. His love of family and friends and kindness to all was a beautiful trait. He will be in our hearts forever. He was a great man who helped many people throughout his life and he truly will be missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Olivia A. Pendergast; 3 brothers, John Pendergast, Jr. of Fairhaven, Bill Pendergast of Fort Myers, FL and James Pendergast of Bellingham; 2 sisters, Mary Muldoon of New Bedford and Janet Kantor of Newbury Park, CA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was the brother of the late Phyllis Boucher, Jean Quigley and Kay Guliano.
