Raffaela (Giacobbe) Rinaldi of Boston’s North End, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday morning. She was 95 years old. Born and raised in Flumeri, Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Nicolantonio and Giuseppa Giacobbe. Raffaela came to the United States over 50 years ago and joined by her husband and young family set up a beautiful life through hard work and dedication. She loved being in the company of family and friends, was a devout member of St Leonard Parish and enjoyed many friendships in her neighborhood.
The beloved wife of the late Luigi Rinaldi, she was a devoted mother to Michelina Cincotti and her husband Carl of Medford, Annette Skoog and her husband Donald of Medford, Nicholas Rinaldi and his wife Fina of Malden, Rosa Rinaldi, Maria Natale and her husband Peppino of the North End and the late Giuseppe Rinaldi. She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and the late Daniele Rinaldi and is lovingly survived by eight great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of the late Antonio Giacobbe.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 26th in Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq., Boston’s North End, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
