St. Clair, Jonathan R. 58, of Chestnut Hill died unexpectedly on October 21st. Jonathan was the beloved husband of Corinne and father of Nickie, Laurie, and Jack. He was the son of the late Frank and Irene Snell and the grandson of Stanley and Mary Blinstrub. He leaves two sisters, Leslie Ollie of Coral Gables, Florida and Stacey Smith of Brookline.
Jonathan graduated from Boston College and earned an MBA from McGill University. He began his career running his family’s restaurant Blinstrub’s Old Colony House. He has spent the last 21 years as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Executive at Adviser Investments.
Jonathan was devoted to his children and wife. He loved to sail, ski, run and bike with his children. Recently, he and his wife Corinne celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in Croatia.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington Street (Rt.16), Wellesley on Friday, October 27 from 4 to 8. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Church in Chestnut Hill on Saturday, October 28 at 9:00. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trustees of Boston University with a note directing the gift to the EDS Program-Development Office, P.O. Box 199180, Boston, MA 02119-9918. Nickie, their daughter has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
