Jose A. DeNobrega, age 51 of Berkley, passed away on October 23, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital
He was the beloved husband of Brunilde (Abreu) DeNobrega.
Joe was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, the son of Alberto and Agostinha (Pereira)DeNobrega.
Mr. DeNobrega was employed with M.E.B.A as a marine engineer for many years. Joe also participated in the Gulf War. He was a 1989 graduate of Massachusetts Maritime. Joe loved sports and traveling, especially to Portugal. He enjoyed flying with his friends, and traveling with them to Nova Scotia. He was also a fast car enthusiast, and an award-winning baker.
Most of all he was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family. Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, godfather, and a dear friend to many.
Besides his loving wife Brunilde of over 25 years and his parents, he is survived by his
cherished daughters, Kendra and Vishaan DeNobrega both of Berkley. Mr. DeNobrega was the brother of Ana Clark of NC, Ida Riley of Raynham, loving uncle of Cassandra, Rebecca, Caitlin,Gavin, Danubio, Malik, Octavio, Challen, Tanea, Lazlo, Jamie, Zoe, and Liam.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10 am in Saint
Jude the Apostle Church 249 Whittenton St, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
