Denise M. Coady, age 63, of Norton formerly of Bernalillo, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2017, at the Marina Bay Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Quincy.
Born in St John, Newfoundland, Canada on December 31, 1953, she was a loving daughter of the late Denis K. and Helen G. (Walsh) Coady.
Denise grew up in Canada and at the age of twelve, her family moved to Upper State New York. She was 1972 graduate of Peru High School in New York and received Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico.
A resident of Norton for the past three years, she previously resided in Bernalillo, New Mexico, where she was employed as a school nurse at Bernalillo High School.
Denise was a very spiritual woman who enjoyed the Buddhist culture and Buddhist dancing. She loved spend time with her adoring family and the great outdoors. She was a passionate hiker and enjoyed cross-country skiing.
She is survived by her son Coady B. Richards of New Mexico. She was the sister of Donna E. Favaro of Norton, Diane L. Ramsay and her husband Piers of New Mexico, Timothy D. Coady of Tennessee, and Colleen A. parker and her husband Brad of New York. She was the aunt of Hollie and Tyler Favaro, and Maya and Blaire Ramsay.
Services and burial will be held privately and visiting hours have been omitted.
