Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Miller, 72
DAYTON- Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Miller passed away on Oct. 19, 2017, at South Portland Nursing Home.
Jackie was born in Waterville, Maine on Oct. 10, 1945, the daughter of Rodney and Muriel (Wilcox) Miller.
Jackie grew up and attended school in Portland. She worked in South Portland as a crossing guard for a number of years. Jackie loved animals, especially her pet kitty, Dodie. She loved spending time with her sister, nephew, nieces, great nieces and great nephews. Jackie enjoyed listening to music, playing bingo, joking around with friends and eating popcorn.
Jackie is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her sister Marilyn B. Russell and her husband Richard, of Dayton; her nephew Jim R. Russell, of New Vineyard; her niece Kristin L. Perkins and her husband Sean with their five children; Haleigh, Mason, Abby, Stella and Silas, of Limerick; and her niece Emily L. Dancause and her husband Brian with their three children; Drew, Zoey, and Alura, of Dayton.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to South Portland Nursing Home for all the wonderful care Jackie recieved.
Relatives and friends are invited to join in a graveside service that will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, at 10 AM at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland. Arrangements are entrusted to Chad E.
