Anita G. Rainville, 91, of Manville died Saturday October 21, 2017 at The Holiday in Manville. She was the wife of the late Josephat Rainville.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late George and Roseanna (Breault) Vandal. She was a resident of Manville for most of her life and also lived in Woonsocket for several years.
Mrs. Rainville worked at Savard textile mill and was later employed at Clover Beads in Pawtucket for many years before retiring in 1981.
She was a longtime communicant of St. James Parish.
She is survived by her son Dennis M. Rainville and his wife Pamela of Streator, Illinois. She was the sister of the late Frederick and Gerard Vandal, Cecile Therrien, Rita Vincent and Florence Ross. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are from 9:00-9:30 am, prior to Mass, in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home 71 Central St. Manville.
