Gerald J. “Gerry” Fenton, age 82, of Raynham, formerly of Easton and Brockton, died at his home October 18, 2017. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Sarah A. (Greaney) Fenton. Gerry graduated from Stonehill College in 1961 with a BS degree in Accounting. He was an Army veteran and served in Germany. For over 25 years, Gerry was employed as a Special Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and also enjoyed reading.
Gerry is survived by his children Michael and wife Kelli Fenton of Peyton, CO, Daniel Fenton and wife Kyoko Okamura of Boston, Christopher and wife Therese Fenton of Las Vegas, NV, and Sarah Fenton and husband Joseph Texeira of Taunton; grandchildren Kayla, Dale, Jonathan, Katelyn, Lulu, and Ike Fenton and Braden Texeira. He was the brother of Sheila Hallisey, Maureen Fenton and the late Thomas Fenton. Gerry is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Please join us in celebrating Gerry's life. Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday, October 26, 5-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Friday at 9am for a funeral Mass at 10am at St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
