FRANCIS T. MAHONY
Francis T. Mahony of Dorchester, MA died Monday Oct. 10, 2005 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in West Roxbury, MA following a long illness. He was 81 years of age. Born and educated in Boston, the son of the late timothy J. and Frances N. (Packard) Mahony, he was a graduate of Boston University. Mr Mahony was a writer, predominantly of short stories and other articles. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was in combat in Italy, France, germany and at the Battle of the Bulge in 1944. He was a long time friend of Bill W. Mr Mahony is survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends including his fellow members of the Parkway Group. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Oct 14, 2005 at 10 AM in the O'Donnell & Mulry Funeral Home 138 Neponset Ave. Dorchester, MA. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA at a later date. Visiting Hours are at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening Oct. 13 from 5 - 8 PM.
