Beverly A. (Settlemire) Irwin, 65, of Acushnet died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Andrew C. Irwin.
Born in Kimball, Nebraska, daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Burt) Settlemire, she lived in Jackson Hole, WY and New Bedford before moving to Acushnet.
She was employed as a switchboard operator and receptionist for her entire career, most recently at High Point Treatment Center in New Bedford.
Beverly loved reading, playing Yahtzee and Cribbage, and animals, especially her dog, Muffin.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammie Irwin of Acushnet, and Meloney Woron and her husband Chris of Marietta, GA; two granddaughters, Juliet and Abigail Woron; two brothers, Jerry and Don Settlemire; a sister, Linda Bucklin; and many nieces and nephews.
Her graveside service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Acushnet Cemetery.
