Tony Reese, 54, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Cecil Burkett officiating.
Mr. Reese was born September 9, 1963, in Glendale, California, to the late Howard Maxwell Reese and the late Minnie Bishop Reese Davis. He was a 1981 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Mr. Reese worked as a cutter at Arising Industries and formerly worked for MDI. He loved to tell jokes and was a strong supporter of Israel and their right to be a sovereign nation. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children: Morgan Reese of Fitzgerald and Kelly & Heather Casto of Tifton; grandchildren: Aaron Collier and Abbi Casto; a sister, Janet & Steven Sheppard of Fitzgerald; a brother, Leslie & Sam Reese of Americus; his step-father, Bubba Davis of Fitzgerald; as well as several nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his two dogs, Israel and Happy.
