Arthur Mae Revell, 94, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, October 16, 2017, at Shady Acres - Vista Park in Douglas, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Sturgeon Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Paul Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the McMillan Cemetery in Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Revell was born December 18, 1922, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late Pearlie & Lunie Vickers Harper. She was a seamstress and worked for Irwin Manufacturing and the Monarch Company. Mrs. Revell enjoyed being outdoors, riding her lawn mower and golf cart and gardening. She was a member of Sturgeon Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Ralph & Carolyn McMillan of Fitzgerald; a daughter, Donna & Chris Garbow of Canton; grandchildren and their spouses: Jeniffer & Andrew Thompson, Victoria & Ray Smith and Jonathan Hunter Garbow & Stacey; a grandson-in-law, Bucky Perry; eight great-grandchildren: Abagail Thompson, Elizabeth Smith, Katelynn Smith, Bayly Thompson, Mac Perry, Anna Perry, Addison Marie Garbow and Hannah Sue Garbow; and a sister, Daphine Fussell of Ambrose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Jacob McMillan; her second husband, Vernon Cleo Revell and a granddaughter, Amanda Gail Perry.
