Brenda Anne Bassignani passed away on October 9, 2017 in Novato, California following an illness.
She was born on July 3, 1944 in Milford, MA, a daughter of the late Armetti J. and Anna C. Bassignani of Franklin, Massachusetts.
Brenda was raised and educated in Franklin, was a graduate of Dean Jr. College and worked as a nurse for the Veterans Administration in Minneapolis, Minnesota, until her retirement.
She is survived by her sisters Joannah M. Brunelli and her husband Robert G. of Franklin, and Mary Jane Geraldi and her husband Gus of Novato, California.
Also surviving are her niece & nephews Robert R. Brunelli and his wife Theresa and Monica Powers and Michael Geraldi, great nieces, Hannah and Elizabeth. Brenda also leaves her cherished aunt Marie Rosetti Bassignani of Medway, MA and many cousins.
She was the aunt of the late James J. Brunelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday Oct. 21st, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, One Church Square, Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday from 5-8PM.
