FALL RIVER - William Frederick King, 68, 44 Winter St., Fall River, MA, died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the former Husband of Judy King Rutter and Longtime Companion of Linda De Mello. He was survived by two Sons: Clifford Layne King of Fall River & Craig Stuart King of Swansea, One Daughter: Cheryl King Dias of Fall River, Eight Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. He was also brother of the late Carol King.
Born in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of the late Edward King and the late Louise King. He was a Fall River resident since 1955. Before retiring, he was a Press Operator for the former Mossberg Pressed Steel of Cumberland, R.I. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Joseph Church.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, No. Main St., Fall River, Ma. at 9:00 A.M. Internment in Newport Memorial Park. Calling hours Friday 5-9 P.M.
