Florence Tammelleo, 99, of Morgan Health Center, Johnston, went home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Eugenio and Filomena (Carldarelli) Tammelleo.
Born in Providence, she was predeceased by brothers John, Antonio and Ernest Tammelleo. She worked as an Inspector for Uniroyal before her retirement.
She is survived by her nieces; Pamela and Joseph Lombari of Johnston and Joan Murtough of Warwick as well as her great nieces and nephews; Mark Lombari, Christine Antonio, Sherri and Michael Chippendale, Kevin and David Murtough. She is also survived by 3 great-great nieces and nephew; Madison Lombari, Paige and Séighín Chippendale.
Florence was a caring devoted daughter and aunt and will be greatly missed by her loving family. Her family wishes to thank the Second Floor staff, nurses and CNAs at Morgan Health Center who cared for Florence with great compassion during her time there.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 9:30am at Saint Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence RI.
