Melida M. (Penton) Ramos, 94, of Natick, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the River Bend Nursing Home in Natick.
She was the beloved wife of the late Juan S. Ramos who died in 2012, sharing 65 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for 25 years she was born in Sancti Spiritus Cuba, the daughter of the late Juan and Delores (Valdivia) Penton.
Mrs. Ramos was known for as never having an idle hand, crocheting, reading, enjoyed the soap operas, and took great pride in supporting the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter Martha Chouinard and her husband Paul of Natick, one son John Ramos of Orlando, FL., five grandchildren, Linda Ramos Sterchele and her husband Troy of Fl., Jon-Paul, Krista, Alicia, and Cecilia Chouinard all of Natick, daughter in law Hortensia Yero of FL., and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Cuba.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, at 11:00 A.M in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by Burial in Dell Park Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
