Eve Sharon Breault, 61, of Derry, NH, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017, in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gardner, MA on February 1, 1956, daughter of the late Richard and Joan (Johnson) Halfrey. Eve was a graduate of Gardner High School in Gardner, MA and later attended Mount Wachusett College. She was employed by Big Lots in Derry.
She is survived by her beloved husband of forty-two years, Brian of Derry; two sons, Eric and his wife Camille of West Haven, UT and Timothy and his wife Jessica of Nashua, NH; five grandchildren, Jaya, Gabrielle, Nicole, Alex and Emma, two brothers, Mark Halfrey and his wife Darlene of Gardner, MA and Matthew Halfrey of Athol, MA; three sisters, Eileen Cote and her husband Buzz of Townsend, MA, Robin Longtin and her husband Steve of Sunapee, NH, and Jennifer Halfrey of Gardner, MA, her cousin and lifelong friend, Kay Gonyeo of Pelham, NH, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother John Halfrey.
A calling hour was held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 9 – 10 am followed by a service at 10:00 am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eve’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
