SHREWSBURY___Suzanne M. (Guertin) Nolan, 68, of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Shrewsbury Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
She leaves her husband of forty years, Thomas J. Nolan of Shrewsbury, a son, Brian Murray and his wife Bonnie of Hoboken, NJ, a son, Ian Nolan and his wife Nicole of Northborough, and a daughter, Leiana Anderson and husband Brian of Shrewsbury, and five grandchildren.
Suzanne was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Lucien and Rita (Langevin) Guertin and lived in Worcester for most of her life before moving to Shrewsbury.
Ms. Nolan was the Activity Director of Blaire House of Worcester for many years. She was a graduate of Holy Name High School and Worcester State College. Sue was proud of her French Canadian heritage, fluent in French, a kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church at Holy Family Parish, 35 Hamilton Street, Worcester. Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester has care of the service arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
