Catherine T. (Cahill) Maloney, age 84 of Brockton, died October 3, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center following a three year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Catherine was the wife of the late Donal Maloney. Born and raised in Knockcarron, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (O’Brien) Cahill. Catherine had been a resident of Brockton for the past 62 years and was employed at Footjoy for 15 years. Strong and independent, she enjoyed travel, especially her yearly trips to Ireland to visit family.
Catherine is survived by her two daughters Ann Kerwin and her husband Raymond and Catherine Boyd and her husband James and two grandsons Michael and Donal Boyd. She was the sister of Elizabeth Webb and husband Steven, Michael Cahill and his wife Joanne, Bridget Hynes and her husband James, Albert Cahill and his wife Yvonne, Rene Meade and her husband Joseph, William Cahill, Ann Sparrow, Timothy Cahill, Patrick Cahill and her dear cousins Eileen Forde and Mary Guenette. She was the sister of the late Sean Cahill, Thomas Cahill, Morgan Cahill, Mary Cahill, James Cahill and Theresa Cahill.
