Katherine M. “Katie” Hunt, 25, of Derry, NH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born on December 19, 1991 in Salem, MA and a resident of Derry, NH. She is survived by her parents Robert R. Hunt and Deborah (MacGilvray) Driscoll.
In addition to her parents, Katie is also survived by her siblings, Jessica Hunt, Christopher Albert and his wife Laura, Nick Albert and wife Christina, Benjamin Albert and girlfriend Morgan Imparato, sister-in-law Andrea Collins, her best friend Alyssa Braley, her nephews, Kaleb Albert, Vincenzo and Giacomo Nicastro and Ender Albert, grandmother, Utta Herrmann, many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her beloved cat Oliver.
Born in Massachusetts, Katie Hunt grew up in Derry, NH. She was loved by every person she met. Katie's charismatic nature allowed her to befriend almost anyone and make everyone feel accepted. She was often described as the most genuine person you could meet. Katie was incredibly intelligent and her vast knowledge was impressive. Her humor was unmatchable, often leaving her family and friends in tears from her jokes. Katie loved her family. She was dedicated as a daughter, sister, and aunt. Her greatest joy was being an aunt. She loved to spend her time playing video games with her nephew Kaleb and often bragged about her three other nephews, Vincenzo, Giacomo, and Ender. She was a faithful and caring friend, regardless of the amount of time that she had known them. There are an endless amount of things to say about such an amazing person like Katie. To say she's missed is an understatement. Forever in our hearts and gone far too soon, we love you Katie May.
Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at Chen's Restaurant in Derry, NH from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
