Manola E. "Lois" (Schmidt) Hahn, a resident of Medford passed away at the Victoria Haven Nursing Center in Norwood on Wednesday afternoon, September 27, 2017. She was 100 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on March 25, 1917, she was the beloved daughter of the late William G. and Alice M. (Howe) Schmidt. Lois had been employed by Para Optometry where she manufactured glass eyes. She had been a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Medford and was a past Director of the Royal House Association. She was also a member of the Medford Historical Society. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving son; Eric E. and his wife Frances S. Hahn of Hanover, grand-daughter; Debra Hahn of Orange, 3 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was also the grandmother of the late David Hahn.
Her Funeral will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
