Carol (McKee) Littell, age 84, a resident of Winchester, MA since 1955 and later of Woburn, MA passed away on October 1, 2017. She was the devoted mother of George H. Littell, III (Terry) and his wife Deborah of Woburn, MA, William M. Littell (Bill) and his wife Nancy of Norwell, MA, and Stephanie Littell and her husband Scott of Lexington, MA.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Carol was the daughter of the late Myron J. and Helen (Wiggins) McKee. She treasured her summers spent with family and friends at Walloon Lake, Michigan. Carol attended Tudor Hall School in Indianapolis, graduating in 1951, before attending Smith College in Northampton, MA, where she graduated with a degree in English in 1955. A homemaker, she enjoyed involvement in the Winchester community while raising her family there. She was a long-time parishioner of the First Congregational Church and a supporter of the Winchester Public Library. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed reading, writing poetry, music, needlepoint, and correspondence with family and friends.
In addition to her children and their spouses, Mrs. Littell is survived by her siblings, Myron and William McKee and Rosalie Lange. She is further lovingly survived by her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7 @ 12 PM at the First Congregational Church, 21 Church St. (on the Common), Winchester, MA. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
