Raymond J. LaPlume, 70, of Manchester, NH passed on Monday, October 2, 2017 surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Worcester, MA on the seventh of April, 1947 and is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rojana, and their two children, Netanya Cormier and her husband Matt of Arizona and Justin LaPlume of New York, as well as his three grandchildren; Bardot Rae, Jace, and Presley.
A dedicated and strong individual throughout his life, he served in the United States Navy and fought for his country in the Vietnam War. He received honorable discharge and received several awards and medals as commendation for his service. His passion in life was his self-owned business he started from his garage in 1988 and established into a corporation, which thrived for many years under his careful eye and the hard work of his employees. A proud and loving grandfather, he enjoyed his time spent with his three grandchildren.
Calling hours were held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A Funeral Service was held at 6:30 PM in the funeral home.
