BUXTON- James E. Larrabee, age 72, lifelong lobsterman, passed away on Sept. 30, 2017 at Mercy Hospital.
He was born in Damariscotta on June 9, 1945, a son of the late Alex and Marjorie (Haskell) Larrabee and graduated from Stonington schools.
Jim proudly served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed going to yard sales, hunting in his earlier years, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Years ago he was involved with the Stonington Fire Department.
Jim is predeceased by his parents and a brother- Danny.
He is survived by his beloved wife- Elaine “Pat” Larrabee; children- Ryan and Ashley; stepchildren- Sandra and Sheryl; brothers- Larry and George; six grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and one step great grandchild.
