Mary “Wanda” Robinson, 60, of Omega passed away Monday, October 2, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Union Grove Church of God with the Rev. Denise Percival and the Rev. Todd Garner officiating. Ms. Robinson will be laid to rest at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery in Eldorado. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Union Grove Church of God.
Wayne Roberts, Scott Roberts, Sam Roberts, Kevin Brown, Jack Weeks, Clay Smith, Cal Williamson and Mark Stillwell will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Margaret Reed and Alice Wallace.
Born March 21, 1957 in Tifton, Ms. Robinson was the daughter of the late H. S. Robinson and LaVerne Bishop Kerr and Ed Kerr. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Roberts Burton; and a great-niece, Dakota Willis. She was a member of Union Grove Church of God in Eldorado.
Ms. Robinson is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Cayden Robinson of Deridder, Louisiana; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Derek and Debbie Robinson of Tifton, David and Gwen Robinson of Omega, Maury and Margaret Kerr of Orlando, Florida, Johnathan and Laura Kerr of Pensacola, Florida and Joe and Diane Kerr of Alliance, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Ritchie Goodwin of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kaylee, Karleigh and David Kasey Robinson; an aunt, Ann Bishop Sutton of Tifton; and many nieces and nephews, who she loved like they were her own.
At Ms. Robinson’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Union Grove Church of God Benevolence Fund, 4144 U. S. Highway 41 South, Tifton, GA 31794, to make sure that people get what they need.
