Obituary



Manchester– Patricia Hebert Harrison, 99, died September 29, 2017 at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center, where she had been a resident since June 2016, following a brief illness.

Family and friends will remember her as an ever-loving, cheerful, supportive and faithful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed classical music and travel, but loved nothing more than being surrounded by family and friends, either at home or at “Camp” – her summer cabin on Suncook Lake in Barnstead.

She was born in Manchester on March 17, 1918, the daughter of Joseph E. and Clara (Boucher) Hebert.

She was a graduate of Manchester High School West, class of 1934-A, and completed college-level courses in education.

Prior to her retirement in 1974, she worked for 30 years as an Executive Secretary to the Director of the Veterans Administration Hospital in Manchester.

She held membership in the Manchester Business & Professional Women’s Club, NARFE, and was Past President and a recipient of the Woman of the Year award of the Manchester Women’s Club. She was a parishoner of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Manchester, and was also an active volunteer in numerous fundraising efforts for Easter Seals New Hampshire for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Harrison, on April 3, 2000.

Family members include one son, Norman J. Harrison and his wife, Anne Ryan Harrison of Washington, DC., three grandchildren, Caroline R. Harrison of Denver, CO, and Thomas R. Harrison and John P. Harrison, both of Washington, DC. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Hebert of Manchester, and by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was also predeceased by two brothers, Donald R. and George E. Hebert, and one sister, Lillian Hebert Ouellette.https://ssl.gstatic.com/ui/v1/icons/mail/images/cleardot.gif

Calling hours will be on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 4 to 6 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Webster and Hemlock Sts.

Committal prayers and entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd.
