STEVENS, Frank 99, of Boston, MA, passed away on September 28, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Edith (Shapiro) Stevens. Devoted father of the late Ronni Casty. Born on September 10, 1918 in New York, he spent nearly 80 years in the Boston area. After a long, successful career as the owner of several beer and wine distributors, Frank loved his work at SCORE where he mentored young entrepreneurs. He relished his time reading in the Public Garden and was a lover of sports, good food and music. He mastered the saxophone at a young age and played across the country with a US Army band. In his 99th year, he began learning guitar. He is survived by his granddaughter Jamie Gordon, five wonderful great-grandsons, and many close friends and extended family. Services private.
