Jeff Holton, 38, of Telfair County, Georgia, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017, alongside his wife, Melissa Alewine Holton, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Dodge County.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Christian Fellowship, Inc., Fitzgerald with the Rev. Rex Johnson, the Rev. Chuck Taylor, the Rev. Allen Arowood, and the Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Jeff was born September 27, 1978, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Lloyd S., Sr. & Pamela Kay Bagwell Holton. Mr. Holton was a professional truck driver and took great pride in operating tractor trailers. He drove for Randall Stubbs Trucking and had formerly driven for Irwinville Peanut & Grain and Harvey’s. He loved music and was known as D.J. Big Daddy to many of his friends. Jeff loved God and was always willing to share a positive word.
He is survived by his son, Jaedan Holton of Coffee County; step-children: Kason Alewine, Kaleb Alewine, Jayce Alewine and Tayler Rains and a brother, Lloyd S. Holton, Jr. of Atlanta. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
