Theresa M. Beliveau, 96, of Derry, NH died Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Aurora Senior Living in Derry. Theresa was born in Derry on January 11, 1921, a daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Caron) Bernier. She was a 1939 graduate of Pinkerton Academy and had been a lifelong resident of Derry. In 1983 Theresa retired from Derry Medical Center where she worked for 15 years. She also worked at First National Bank and Indian Head Bank, both of Derry. Theresa held memberships in the Derry Junior Women’s Club, the Business and Professional Women’s Club, and the Catholic Daughters. She was a lifetime communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry and was past secretary for the Tabernacle Society having served for 26 years.
She is survived by her two sons, Roger P. Beliveau and his wife Barbara of Derry, and John A. Beliveau and his wife Karen of Raymond, NH, six grandchildren, Christopher Beliveau and his wife Eileen, Mark Beliveau and his wife Annette, Michelle Palucci and her husband Frank, Matthew Beliveau and his wife Stacey, Jennifer Ann Beliveau, and Michael Beliveau and his wife Kelly, 8 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Scott, Nicole, Giulia, Madison, Alexandra, and Greyson. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger R. Beliveau in 2007, by her brother, Wilfred Bernier in 2009, and by her sister, Loretta Couture in 2014.
Calling hours were held on Sunday October 1, 2017 from 2 – 5 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas Aquinas School, P.O. Box 387, Derry, NH 03038.
