Mary E. Dervishian, 85, of Derry, NH, passed away Tuesday September 26, 2017, in her home. She was born in Cambridge, MA on January 31, 1932, a daughter of the late Jean (Dey) Freitas. Mary was active in her community in several ways, including being a member of the Emblem Club and part of the Elks most of her lifetime. She also supported her local Salvation army and Goodwill and was an adoptive pet owner.
She is survived by daughter, Mary Dervishian; seven sons, William, Leo, Jr., James, George, Michael, Steve, and John Dervishian; 17 grandchildren, John, Anthony, Brandon, Kerri, Christina, Jillian, Amanda, Stephanie, Allen, Lisa, Jordan, Taylor, Mariel, Jamie, Dayna, Michael and Renee, and one great-grandchild, Isabella. She is predeceased by her husband, Leo Dervishian and her son, Thomas Dervishian.
Calling hours were held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1pm to 3pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A funeral service followed at 3:00pm in the funeral home.
