Betty L. (Carr) Stinson, 85, of Anderson, died September 23, 2017 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis.
Betty was born on January 29, 1932 in Sheridan, Indiana, the daughter of Maurice Lowell and Mildred Opal (Anderson) Carr. She was a 1950 graduate of Anderson High School. She was a homemaker and member of Parkview Wesleyan Church in Chesterfield. She loved to travel with her children.
She is survived by her children; Randy (Peggy) Stinson of Baldwin, Michigan, Sharon (Joel) Gollop of Tennessee, Karen (Robert) Milam of Anderson and Beth (John) Van Ness of Fishers, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; sister, Anne Carr and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Stinson, her parents, a brother, Robert Carr, son-in-law, Robert McKee and a grandson, Chad McKee.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Parkview Wesleyan Church in Chesterfield with Doug Shuck officiating. A reception with the family will follow the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Parkview Wesleyan Church, Alternatives, Inc. or the Humane Society.
