Julia May "Sissy" (Dalton) Larkin, 83, of Norton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on September 25, 2017. She was the widow of Joseph Larkin.
Born in Boston, daughter of the late Elsie (Johnson) Dalton. Julia loved assembling puzzles, listening to music, attending her grandson's sporting events and was known for being a straight shooter.
Survivors include her children, Ann Adams of Taunton, Theresa "Candy" Cusack and her husband Thomas of Berkley, John Larkin of Taunton, Patrick Larkin and his husband Jim Dorsey of Norton and Joseph Larkin and his companion Charleen Serdahl of Middleboro; daughter-in-law Jeanette Oler of Taunton; siblings, William Dalton of Port St. Lucie, FL, Richard Dalton of North Attleboro, Gene "Lucky" Dalton of Boston and Gary Dalton of Easton; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also mother of the late Richard Oler and Ralph Oler; grandmother of the late Sheila Baptiste and George Baptiste; sister of the late Olivia Kutaz, Jeanie Dalton, Edward "Sonny" Dalton, Joseph Dalton and James Dalton.
Funeral Friday at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, with Mass to follow in St. Mary Church, Norton, at 10:00am. Interment Timothy Plains Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday from 5-8pm.
