Helen (Simas) Oliver, age 73 of Attleboro, passed away on September 24, 2017 at Boston Medical Center.
Born in Dighton Ma, Helen was a daughter of the late John and Cecilia (Brophy) Simas.
Before retirement, Helen was employed as a mental health care giver with Associates for Human Services helping the mentally challenged. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, crocheting and reading. She enjoyed talking about her grandchildren much to their dismay. She liked animals of all kinds but loved dogs the most.
Ms. Oliver was the loving mother of Jon Oliver, of San Diego, CA. Tracey Robinson of Attleboro and Mark Oliver of Dighton, grandmother of Joshua Oliver, Matthew Oliver and Alyssa Robinson. Helen was also the sister of Ann Simas of North Dighton and Irene Simas of AL. Ms. Oliver also leaves behind Daughter in-law Keiko Oliver and Son in-law Louis Robinson, along with other family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 2 to 5 pm, with a funeral service to begin at 5pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Additional parking with full handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.
Her burial will be privately held.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in Helen’s memory made to American Heart Association or MSPCA, would be deeply appreciated.
