Adrian M. Corliss, 66, of Whitman, died unexpectedly on September 23rd. Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts in 1951, daughter of Doris (Whitely) Corliss and the late Warren R. Corliss.
She graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional HS in 1970 and Massasoit CC in 1973.
Adrian was employed at Alfieri-Proctor Associates for the majority of her career where she retired in 2015. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitman and most recently attended First Baptist Church of Hanson where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She cherished all of the time spent with her beloved family in Massachusetts and Maine, especially her nieces, nephew, her great-niece and great-nephew.
Adrian was an avid antique doll collector, appreciated fine jewelry and always kept up-to-date on fashion and pop culture. She was a lover of all Boston sports teams and enjoyed watching the tennis greats of the world.
She leaves behind her mother, Doris M. Corliss, who now resides in Saco, Maine, her sister Pamela Plasse and husband Joseph of Lyman, Maine, her niece Krystle Smith and husband Kyle, great-niece Addison and great-nephew Jack, of Westbrook, Maine, her niece Erica Plasse of Portland, Maine and her nephew Joseph W. L. Plasse of Winston-Salem, NC.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, September 28th from 4pm-6pm. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, September 29th. Both will be held at Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. A burial will immediately follow at Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman
