Joseph A. Grispi, Sr. of Medford died on Sunday, September 24, at Tufts Medical Center of Boston. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Andrew and Beatrice (Novello) Grispi. Joseph was a longtime Medford resident and worked as a supervisor for Polaroid Corporation.
Joseph was the beloved husband of 55 years to Roberta M. (Bova) Grispi, and the devoted father of Joseph A. Grispi Jr. and his wife Margaret of Abington, and Stephen A. Grispi of Springvale, Maine. He was the loving grandfather of Samantha Grispi of Wisconsin, and the late Stephanie Grispi. Joseph was the brother of Pauline Dutra of Somerville, Rosemarie Fuschetti and Lorraine Hewitt, both of Stoneham, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, September 29 at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 11 through 1 PM. Interment will be private.
